BUCKET LIST DIARIES : Facing Fears

So for the longest I have always wanted to go white water rafting, well this summer I decided to check that off my bucket list. I packed up for the White Water Center and did headed out with one of my friends who is always down for the cause.  For you outdoor, adventure lovers this place and packed with a fun filled day.

With over 20 different activities, I only was able to do 5 because I was truly exhausted. Talk about a workout this center is just the place for you. Want a family retreat you got it, this center is open to all ages. 

Established 6 years ago, the White Water Center is the home of Water Sport, Olympic training. Yeah,  who would have thought North Carolina had so much to do, especially in the town of Mt. Holly. 

Date Night: Archery

A while back, I bought a deal on Groupon that was supposed to be a Valentine's Day gift. After many scheduling conflicts, Ricky and I were able to get together one Saturday in May (3 months later!) to take advantage of this deal!

We both like trying new experiences, so I knew he'd enjoy this!

I'm always looking for interesting and unique date night ideas. Here's one that was pretty challenging and enjoyable!

Boss Archery  has an indoor shooting range for beginners to experts. We found a deal on Groupon (again!) and headed out to Concord, NC.!

The owners, Clyde and Jean, have many years of experience in archery, and are quite friendly! Clyde taught us how to handle the bow, and gave us tips on shooting with accuracy. Jean was as sweet as could be, and cheered us on!

Our lesson was about 30 minutes long, followed by 90 minutes of practice. Jean was there to help change the targets and to give us tips (such as a "keep your elbow UP!")..

And surprisingly, I didn't shoor the floor, lol!
